Overview
Glenmore Yoga’s Teacher Training Program provides training and guidance to deepen personal yoga practice while increasing the knowledge of yoga teachers. Weekend training modules provide detailed instruction in yoga theory and practice, including asana, yoga anatomy, yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditation, ayurveda, and teaching methods. Specialty workshops in yoga for pain management, yoga for older adults, prenatal yoga, gentle yoga, and yoga on the ball are also offered as electives.
Our Trademark is a strong emphasis on the therapeutic benefits of Hatha yoga, focusing on the needs of the individual. Yoga teachers will learn to design and teach an appropriately sequenced yoga class as well as develop knowledge of contraindications for various postures, breathing techniques and hands-on teaching methods.
